On December 30, 2010, amateur astrophotographer Chris Kotsiopoulos set out to capture an entire day in a single photograph. After several days of preparation and nearly 30 hours alone in a stationary position, Kotsiopoulos produced this incredible image. Click here to find out how he did it.

Joy, oh, Joy! More photos from the near completed school in Ethiopia!
Just got word that the school is complete! No photos yet, but above are a few shots from near the end of construction.
For those who don’t know, I’ve been working with the TESFA Foundation on the design and construction of a school in Ethiopia. Read more about the project here, and check out photos from my 3 week visit back in February.
Double rainbow over Target Field on Tuesday night. At it’s fullest, the double rainbow stretched from where it is in the image above all the way across the outfield and into the skyline. Quite a beautiful sight.
