The mostly blue senators on the left got some money from oil companies, but not much. The mostly red senators on the right got much more. Guess which senators voted against eliminating
kickbackssubsidies for Chevron, Shell, BP, ConocoPhillips and Exxon Mobil.I don’t know a single working person who thinks multi-billion dollar tax subsidies to giant über-profitable oil companies is a rational idea in this economy. Do you?
The system is so screwed up. We either need to stop campaign contributions or get rid of Republicans. I’m OK with doing both.
