As we all know, the recession is wreaking havoc on many an industry and the design profession is not spared. But what about socially conscious design? We have the capability and skills to react to and find opportunity in this economic crisis, and while traditional design may struggle as economic hardship continues, I believe Social Design will become that much more relevant.
